Your support of Shelter Health Services will help the homeless women and children receive the healthcare they need, totally free and to be able to live healthier lives.
We rely primarily on grants supplemented by donations from community, professional and faith groups, a hand-full of companies and the generosity of individuals to generate the income we need to provide our services totally free of any charges. We do not receive any funds from United Way, Salvation Army, Medicaid, Medicare, or federal government. Corporate and employee payroll deduction donations are virtually nonexistent due to the exclusivity the United Way has with most companies.
